What We’re Reading: Experts Probe HIV/TB Co-infection

This week, we’re reading about the co-infection between HIV and tuberculosis (TB). In celebration of World TB Day (March 24),  our friends at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation discuss the barriers to improving HIV/TB Care and treatment. We’re also reading about EGPAF’s Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) briefing event held in Geneva, Switzerland, and celebrating Women’s History Month with a nod to female scientists pioneering HIV/AIDS research.

EGPAF“Parliamentarians key in fight to increase children’s access to HIV treatment” – On March 17, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) held a side event at the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) to impress upon parliamentarians the need to prioritize children in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
