Huffington Post -- "Setting the Stage for an HIV Cure" -- In his State of the Union address, President Obama stressed that funding for research could “unleash the next great American discovery.” In this Huffington Post piece, Charles Lyons, president and CEO of the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) and Nicholas Hellman, M.D., executive vice president of medical and scientific affairs at EGPAF suggest that with the right tools in place, an HIV cure could be that next discovery.

HealthCanal – “HIV Dialogue Differs By Race Ethnicity” – A new study from Brown University examines whether race is a contributing factor to the way health professionals counsel people living with HIV.
Worcester.com – “Holy Cross Dance Marathon Rises More Than $40k for Pediatric AIDS” – Students at the College of Holy Cross stood UP 4 THE FIGHT and raised $40,133 for EGPAF.
EGPAF – “New Book Explores Quest to End Pediatric AIDS” – Author Rebecca Anderson tells of the antiretroviral drug, Nevirapine’s, success in preventing mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT) of HIV and offers insight into EGPAF’s role in eliminating pediatric HIV in this new historical account of the “Quest to End Pediatric AIDS.”
